How to convert milliwebers to webers

Magnetic flux integrates the normal component of flux density over area. Flux density requires area and orientation; a weber is also one volt second.

Use x for the value in mWb, b for the intermediate value in Wb, and y for the result in Wb.

Wb = mWb × 0.001

Worked examples

  • 10 mWb ≈ 0.01 Wb

    Step 1: (10 × 0.001) ≈ 0.01 Wb.
    Step 2: 0.01 ÷ 1 ≈ 0.01 Wb.

  • 20 mWb ≈ 0.02 Wb

    Step 1: (20 × 0.001) ≈ 0.02 Wb.
    Step 2: 0.02 ÷ 1 ≈ 0.02 Wb.

Results are rounded to 12 significant digits. Converting units does not increase the precision of the original measurement. Very large or small values outside JavaScript’s finite numeric range are rejected.

About Milliwebers

Milliwebers (mWb) measures magnetic flux under the conventions above. The base value in Wb is (x × 0.001), where x is the numerical value in mWb. Factors shown here are rounded for display; calculations use the stored factor.

About Webers

Webers (Wb) measures magnetic flux under the conventions above. The base value in Wb is (x × 1), where x is the numerical value in Wb. Factors shown here are rounded for display; calculations use the stored factor.
