How to convert microwebers to milliwebers
Magnetic flux integrates the normal component of flux density over area. Flux density requires area and orientation; a weber is also one volt second.
Use x for the value in µWb, b for the intermediate value in Wb, and y for the result in mWb.
mWb = µWb × 0.000001 ÷ 0.001
Worked examples
10 µWb ≈ 0.01 mWb
Step 1: (10 × 0.000001) ≈ 0.00001 Wb.
Step 2: 0.00001 ÷ 0.001 ≈ 0.01 mWb.20 µWb ≈ 0.02 mWb
Step 1: (20 × 0.000001) ≈ 0.00002 Wb.
Step 2: 0.00002 ÷ 0.001 ≈ 0.02 mWb.
Results are rounded to 12 significant digits. Converting units does not increase the precision of the original measurement. Very large or small values outside JavaScript’s finite numeric range are rejected.
About Microwebers
Microwebers (µWb) measures magnetic flux under the conventions above. The base value in Wb is (x × 0.000001), where x is the numerical value in µWb. Factors shown here are rounded for display; calculations use the stored factor.
About Milliwebers
Milliwebers (mWb) measures magnetic flux under the conventions above. The base value in Wb is (x × 0.001), where x is the numerical value in mWb. Factors shown here are rounded for display; calculations use the stored factor.
