How to convert bytes per second to gigabits per second
A byte per second is 8 bits per second. Decimal Mbps and binary Mibit/s differ. These rates exclude protocol overhead; real transfer time also depends on throughput and latency.
Use x for the value in B/s, b for the intermediate value in bit/s, and y for the result in Gbit/s.

Step 1: (10 × 8) ≈ 80 bit/s.
